We repair the immediate fault, and when the math favors it, convert the whole cabinet to LED so this is the last dark-sign call you make. Timing matters more than it used to: the Illinois fluorescent bulb ban ends the sale of linear fluorescent tubes in Illinois on January 1, 2027, so a relamp on an older cabinet is now a retrofit conversation.
